Adding a Sermon

This page outlines how to add a new video file to the Sermons page.

Preliminaries:

  1. Register and obtain permission to modify the website.  See the Register section in the Website Support page.
  2. Install and configure FTP Client software.  A good Free FTP Client program is Filezilla (Windows and Linux) or Cyber Duck FTP (Mac).  But any FTP Client program should work.
    Configuration parameters:
    FTP Username: videos@videos.ebenezerwelcome.com
    FTP server: ftp.ebenezerwelcome.com
FTP & explicit FTPS port:  21
Contact Ralph Barke for the password.
  3. Determine how you will get a copy of the sermon.  I found a FireFox extention that allows me to grab a video from Facebook.  It is call Clip Save.

Here are the steps to add a new sermon:

  1. Download and rename the new video file to EWBC_YYYY-MM-DD.ext (Example: EWBC_2025-07-20.mp4)
  2. Use FTP to upload the new file to the website.
  3. Log into the website using the login link: https://ebenezerwelcome.com/wp-login.php
  4. Navigate to the Sermons Page.  Click on the “Ebenezer Welcome Baptist Church” link in the upper left corner of the page until you see the website “Home” page.  Then navigate to the “Sermons” Page.
  5. Open Beaver Builder.  Click on Beaver Builder near the center of the top bar to open the Beaver Builder page editor.
  6. Duplicate the last sermon section. Click on the duplicate icon which will appear in a blue control panel in the upper left corner of the section once you mouse over it.  It look like a little square with a duplicate square behind it.
  7. Edit the new duplicate section.  Click in the new duplicated section and a pop up text editor should appear.  Make the changes for the new sermon.  filename, date, title, etc.  and click on save in the lower right hand corner of the editor when you are done.
  8. Publish your changes.  Click on the Done button in the upper right hand corner.  If you are happy with the changes click Publish.  If you would like to make more changes hit Cancel.   You can also save it as a draft and work more on it later.  Or if it is really messed up, you can Discard

Once it is Published it is available for viewing.
