Awana clubs are back!
Register on Realm Today!
AWANA provides local churches with weekly clubs and programs for preschool through 12th grade. Our goal is to reach children and their families, with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.
The acronym AWANA comes from the first letters of Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, taken from 2 Timothy 2:15 – “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.”
AWANA meets every Sunday night during the school year from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM. AWANA balances games with scripture memory and scripture related activities to provide an entertaining, yet instructive 90 minutes for children.
Here are the specific clubs we have available for your family:
For Girls and Boys – Age 3 and 4 years old (NOTE: Must be 3 years of age by August 1) – Cubbies, the AWANA club for preschoolers, is unique because it supports parents as the primary source of spiritual nurturing.
For Girls and Boys – Grades Kindergarten through 2nd Grade – Sparks, the AWANA club for children in kindergarten through 2nd Grade, builds on the material taught in our Cubbies club. Our focus is to take youngsters a step deeper into God’s Word and allow them to hear the gospel and come to faith in Jesus Christ.
For Girls and Boys in Grades 3 through 5 – Truth & Training, the AWANA Club, teaches them the truth of God’s Word and trains them to follow Christ in their daily lives.
For Girls and Boys in Grades 6-12 - Trek and Journey is Awana program for middle and high school students. This program challenges students to wrestle with the three most important questions they’re asking in middle school and high school by allowing students to dive deep into the Scriptures through verse memorization and study, we allow them to own their faith and discover what they believe.
Please contact the church office at 864.895.1461 for more details about each program.
